Description:

One of the largest and best cowpeas. Light-brown seeds in straw-colored, purple-tinted 7-9 in. pods. Large, bushy plants, very prolific, easy to shell. A Southern favorite, updated for more disease resistance, including broader Fusarium Wilt resistance. Very reliable, disease resistant and shows some resistance to stinkbugs also.

Have been growing and saving the best seeds from this bean on our farm for about 4 years.


Growing Tips:

Grow in full sun in well-drained soil from a few weeks after your last frost to about 7-8 weeks before your last frost, if it is still warm. Likes it hot.
