Growing Practices: No Pesticides No Herbicides No Fungicides

Latin Name: Celosia

Days to Maturity: 90

Description:

Brightly variegated magenta and chartreuse leaves make this unique plant a stunning ornamental as well as a highly nutritious leafy green - and that's before it even flowers! Impossibly vibrant magenta colored flowering plumes retain their color when dried and can be used in winter bouquets, wreaths, and garlic braids. Celosia takes a while to get started, so it's best to start seeds indoors 6 weeks before frost and plant out when soil is warm. Does not like cold soil.

Growing Tips:

Does not like cold soil. Start indoors 6 weeks before last frost.
