Growing Practices: No Pesticides No Herbicides No Fungicides No Synthetic Fertilizers

Latin Name: Zinnia elegans

Days to Maturity: 75-90

Description:

Large blooms of salmon tones on long, sturdy stalks make this zinnia an excellent choice for cut flowers. Heat tolerant, downy mildew resistant, and great for attracting beneficial insects over a long blooming period - most notably bumblebees and swallowtail butterflies. I love walking out into the zinnia patch in the morning and finding slumbering bumble bees drunk on nectar. Swallowtails arrive in the afternoon.
