Growing Practices: No Pesticides No Herbicides No Fungicides No Synthetic Fertilizers

Latin Name: Capsicum annuum

Days to Maturity: 75

Description:

I originally started growing this pepper for a sriracha company, and fell in love with it for its truly incredible spicy-sweet flavor. Fruity depth, smokey undertones. Not only delicious, the plants themselves are beautiful and highly productive, with abundant shiny bright red fruits resembling plump, oversized jalapenos but with wider shoulders. Flavor is great in Asian dishes - and of course makes bomb sriracha hot sauce. Around 6,000 scoville heat units, hotter than a jalapeno but milder than a serrano.
