Growing Practices: No Pesticides No Herbicides No Fungicides No Synthetic Fertilizers

Latin Name: Capsicum annuum

Days to Maturity: 72 days

Description:

There are 25 or more sweet red bell pepper seeds in each package.

Story of this Seed:

These sweet red bell pepper seeds are originally from southern Ukraine when my husband used to live and grew these plants. Unlike other varieties, the plants from these seeds grow really well in cold climates (even -5 degrees Celsius).

Growing Tips:

Start in potting soil on a heating mat on a windowsill and cover with 1 cm of soil on top, spacing about 2 cm apart from each other. Transplant into separate pots once seedlings are one inch tall, and transplant into the garden once the seedlings are 5 inches tall.

Water regularly, and plant in a sunny spot. Harvest once fruit is ripe and the stem attached to the fruit isn't strong anymore and drying out.

Use fertilizer, if needed. But a better option would be to use compost or cow manure.
