From Harry Jones of Cumberland County, Kentucky; named for his grandfather. The Jones family has grown this tomato for 3 generations. Large, healthy indeterminate plant produces 12-18 oz. yellow fruits that blush pink on the blossom end when ripe. Good balanced flavor. Care of the Earth has grown it for years for their CSA and for restaurants. It is very productive in a variety of conditions, resists early season diseases and cracking, and its production rivals hybrids by weight. Regular leaf shape. A mainstay at Care of the Earth Farm (who also produced this seed). 280 seeds/gram.
