Description:
Ghostly Jalapeno-(Capsicum chinense)-This is a cross created by a grower named Jack Skaggs from Ohio. The first generation was in 2012. The peppers have a very unique flavor and grow pretty consistent. They are not as hot as Ghost peppers and it seems that the Jalapeno has tempered the somewhat earthy flavor of the Ghost. The Bhut Jalapeno peppers resemble a string bean but are kind of have a square edge to them instead of being rounded like a cayenne pepper. They are about 6 inches long and 3/8 inch wide. They are very productive and ripen from green to dark red. The Bhut/Jalapeno chile plants grow 3 to 4 feet tall.
