Description:

Choricero-(Capsicum annuum)- Also know as Cuerno de cabra. This is a sweet pepper with some mild heat. It is very commonly used in many dishes in Basque cooking. Most of the time it is dried and then later used as an ingredient in soups, stews, potato and cod dishes. It is also used as an ingredient to make the famous Chorizo sausage. It can also be roasted or stuffed. The Choricero pepper comes from the area of Navarre, Spain. The peppers ripen from green to red and can get up to 8 inches long. The Choricero chile plants grow up to 3 feet tall.
