Description:

Very large (20-24”), round to slightly flattened gourds with incredibly thick walls (up to 3/4 inch). Some are dark green in the field and some are light green. We got seedstock from Suzanne Ashworth through Seed Savers Exchange. This variety is one of four that really held up to Downy Mildew and grew well into October in Twin Oaks’ 2015 trial of 29 gourd varieties. Seed grown by Sycamore Farm. Certified Organic by Baystate Organic Certifiers.
