Description:
Jay's Peach Ghost Scorpion- (Capsicum chinense) This is an extremely hot pepper that was developed by a farmer named Jay in Eastern Pennsylvania, United States. It has been growing for 4 years now. Growing it in 2013 will make it 5th generation. Keep in mind that this is a cross so you will see many pod variations and possibly color variations. It is a cross between a Ghost Chile (Bhut Jolokia) and a Trinidad Scorpion. Lighter shades of red and a pink Scorpion were chosen to give it the Peach color. It grows into many contorted shapes some having tails. Will also look like an extremely twisted bumpy Ghost chile. Most superhots of light shades of color are milder in heat then darker shades. Not this pepper. ! The flavor is floral but slightly sweet. Use caution when handling! The Jay's Peach Ghost Scorpion chile plants grow up to 4 feet tall.
