Purple Jalapeno-(Capsicum annuum)-This jalapeno variety turns bright purple and stays that way for awhile before finally turning red. It has the same heat level as a hot Jalapeno but has a more fruitier flavor than most of them. Great for salsas and attractive when pickled with other peppers while still purple. Easy to grow. The Purple Jalapeno Chile plants grow between 3-4 feet tall.
