Red Savina-(Capsicum chinense)-A red habanero type that held the World Record for heat from 1992-2006 at 550,000 Scoville units. It was discovered in his field of Orange habaneros by a man named Frank Garcia. He then kept breeding it to keep large pepper size and red color. It has fruity tones and is one of the hottest among Red Habanero varieties. It is also very productive. The Red Savina chile plants grow between 3-4 feet tall.
