This corn was collected from the Rio Grande Pueblos of New Mexico and crossed with each other to increase diversity. The plants can grow 10 feet tall or more with 1 or 2 ears per plant. The ears can have up to 18 rows of kernels and measure up to 12 inches in length.

Growing Tips:

This corn is adapted to a long season low humidity environment. When the husks dried I picked the corn, shucked it and dried it under cover in the shade. If left in the field in humid or rainy weather it could have mold problems in the ear.
