This is the most widely grown dill. Bouquet dill has large seed umbels and dark-green foliage. Dill provides a great beneficial-insect habitat in the garden and can reseed prolifically. Plant extra for the swallowtail butterflies! Early, large seed heads make this an excellent dill for pickling.
The foliage is also good sprinkled on potatoes, tomatoes, grilled salmon, spinach, green beans, soup, cucumbers, squash and more. Very aromatic.
Dirt Goddess Super Seeds are fortified with Mycorrhizae, Beneficial Bacteria & Trichoderma for Superior Growth & Vigor. Organically!
Mycorrhizae forms a symbiotic relationship with the roots of 95% of the worlds plants and it’s believed that plants were able to evolve onto land due to this symbiosis.
Colonization by mycorrhizae can provide multiple functions: increased nutrient uptake, drought tolerance, resistance to pathogens, increased vigor and yield.
It has been shown that the presence of Mycorrhizae can increase a plant’s absorption of certain nutrients which it cannot uptake on its own.
In most gardens and agricultural settings the mycorrhizae is destroyed by tilling, the overuse of chemical fertilizers, and fungicides. The mycorrhizae must be re-added to the soil in order to benefit the plant.
Mycorrhizae is naturally 100% organic.

Story of this Seed:
Thanks and Happy Growing!
Soil & Water: Dill grows well in rich, well-drained soils, but can grow in very marginal soils. It prefers full sun and heavy water. If it likes where it is, it can reseed prolifically.
Planting & Growing: Sow seeds directly after the last frost. Dill has a naturally low germination rate; 60% is typical. Seeds can be started indoors 4-6 weeks before the last frost, but dill does not like to be transplanted. It's best left alone once established.
Harvesting & Storage: Harvest leaves as soon as the plant is large enough. Gather flower umbels when most of the flowers have opened. Leave some flowers to develop into seed and harvest them when they have turned a brownish-tan.
Did You Know? Plant dill to be harvest-ready at the same time as cucumbers for the perfect pickling pair.
