Latin Name: Capsicum annuum

Days to Maturity: 75

Description:

Beautiful bright red peppers with mild to medium heat. 6-7 inches long, 2-3 inches at the top and tapered. These didn’t get a drop of irrigation water in 2014. They produced through the dry weeks without shriveling or damage - unusual for a pepper in Virginia. Very sweet in addition to being hot, and mild enough that you can use a lot of it without overpowering the dish. We got seedstock from Christopher Hoetschl, through the Seed Savers Exchange yearbook. 125 seeds/g. Grown by Lyndsey Walker or Edmund Frost (home garden).
