Dirt Goddess Super Seeds are fortified with Beneficial Bacteria & Trichoderma for Superior Growth & Vigor. Organically!
Your plants will greatly benefit from the action of certain Bacterias in the soil. Beneficial Aerobic Bacteria enhance plant growth & root formation, decompose organic material in the soil into plant nutrients and build soil structure and humus levels.
Bacteria fix nitrogen by converting nitrogen from the air into plant available form. It increases nutrient levels in the soil by converting insoluble nutrients (including phosphorus) for plant use and improves nutrient absorption by increasing cell membrane permeability of root hairs.
Trichoderma produce natural plant hormones which promote plant and root growth. Inoculated seeds resist pre-germination rot and improve the germination rate and period of seeds. You’ll see improved disease resistance and a suppression of pathogenic fungi that cause seed rot, root rot, stem rot and fruit rot.

Thanks and Happy Growing!
Brussels sprouts prefer cooler climates, but can be grown in hot climates by direct seeding in mid-summer for a late fall/winter harvest.
Start Brussels sprouts indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost, or direct sow mid-May to mid-June. Set out or plant in full sun to partial shade.
Plant Heirloom Brussels sprouts seeds ¼ - ½" deep, 4-6" apart, in rows 18-36" apart. Germination occurs in 5-17 days in soil 55-70°F .
Thin plants to 12-24" apart. For best flavor and tenderness, harvest after plants have endured a couple of frosts.

Answer this question
You have 1.00 acre in production? How on earth do you produce all these large quantities of seed? Are you working with other producers? I am curious about your Brussels Sprouts for Virginia. When should they be sown/transplanted for a fall/winter harvest?
Answer this question
I'm curious why you are selling brassica seeds inoculated with mycorrhizae. My understanding has always been that brassicas do not respond to mycorrhizal inoculation in any way. Do you have a different understanding? If so, can you point me towards your data? Thanks!
Hi David, The inoculate I use contains Mycorrhizae, Beneficial Bacteria and Trichoderma fungus. While the brassicas don't respond to mycorrhizae, they will respond favorably to the beneficial bacteria and trichoderma.
