NO HEAT PACKS AVAILABLE. WE RECYCLE BOXES, PAPER, PACKING MATERIAL AND MORE.

ONE YOUNG - ORGANIC, HEIRLOOM NEOMARICA GRACILIS (TRIMEZIA) BLUE IRIS, ALSO KNOWN AS APOSTLE PLANT, FAN PLANT, AND POOR MAN'S ORCHID PLANT

GROWN AND HARVESTED IN MY GARDEN IN ZONE 9B. PLANTS ARE GROWN OUTDOORS UNDER TREES AND MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE NORMAL WEATHER/ENVIRONMENTAL BLEMISHES - THESE BLEMISHES WILL NOT HARM THE HEALTH OF THE PLANT

NO CHEMICALS WERE USED ON THESE PLANTS

LISTING IS FOR ONE SMALL PLANT FROM THE NEOMARICA GRACILIS BLUE/WHITE IRIS.

NOTE - PLANTS MAY OR MAY NOT BLOOM IN SPRING DUE TO TRANSPLANT/TRAVEL SHOCK. IF THEY BLOOM, THEY MAY ONLY PRODUCE ONE OR TWO BLOOMS. BLOOMING DEPENDS UPON HOW HAPPY THE PLANT IS.

THE PLANT AVERAGES 12" TO 14" IN LENGTH.

THE PLANT MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE ROOTS BUT WILL HAVE A SMALL RHIZOME. THIS IS A VERY HARDY PLANT.

THE PLANT SHIPS BARE ROOT, NO POT, NO SOIL AND WILL HAVE A MOIST MEDIUM WRAPPED AROUND THE RHIZOME/ROOTING END.
SOME OF THE LEAVES MAY BEND DURING PACKING BUT THE LEAVES SHOULD STRAIGHTEN BACK OUT AND THIS WILL NOT HARM THE OVERALL HEALTH OF THE PLANT.

GREAT TROPICAL LOOKING EVERGREEN PERENNIAL PLANT THAT PRODUCE A BEAUTIFUL BLUE AND WHITE PETALED IRIS WITH A BURNISHED BROWN THROAT. AS THE PLANT MATURES, IT BLOOMS IN WAVES EVERY FEW DAYS IN SPRING AND THEN OFF AND ON DURING SPRING/SUMMER.

NOT A BOG PLANT, BUT THIS IRIS DOES LIKE HUMIDITY AND WATER.

PREFERS DAPPLED SUN/SHADE. CAN BE PLANTED IN CONTAINERS OR DIRECTLY INTO THE GROUND. PLANT IN A MASS FOR A BIG POP OF COLOR OR SINGULARLY AS ACCENTS. THEY LOOK GREAT AROUND HARDSCAPES.

EVEN WHEN NOT IN BLOOM, THE GREEN LEAVES ARE REALLY PRETTY, ESPECIALLY WHEN GENTLY SWAYING IN THE BREEZE. THEY ARE A GREAT BACKDROP FOR ANNUALS AND GIVE A SOFT TROPICAL/SUBTROPICAL LOOK TO THE GARDEN. NO REFUND OR REPLACEMENT. PLANTS WILL BE FRESHLY HARVESTED AND WILL BE HEALTHY WHEN SHIPPED.

I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTIONS OR NON ACTIONS OF USPS.

HERE IN ZONE 9B MY PLANTS LIKE TO HANG OUT IN DAPPLED SUNLIGHT UNDER OAK TREES. TOO MUCH DIRECT SUN CAN BURN THE FOLIAGE.

THE PLANTS ARE GROWN OUTSIDE IN ZONE 9B. PLEASE RESEARCH TO SEE HOW THIS PLANT WILL GROW IN YOUR AREA.

SHIPS TO CONTIGUOUS USA, LOWER 48 STATES EXCLUDING CA/AZ

THANK YOU AND HAPPY GARDENING.

Story of this Seed:

THIS IS A PASS ME DOWN PLANT THROUGH OUR RELATIVES. IT IS BEAUTIFUL, EASY TO GROW AND MULTIPLES VERY NICELY. I HAVE SOME OF MINE PLANTED AROUND A SMALL WATER FEATURE AND IT IS BEAUTIFUL. THIS PLANT WILL GIVE YOU YEARS OF BEAUTY.

Growing Tips:

UPON RECEIPT OF THE PLANT, PLANT IMMEDIATELY IN WELL DRAINING, MOIST POTTING MIX OR DIRECTLY INTO THE GROUND. IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO PLANT DEEPLY, JUST ENOUGH TO COVER THE RHIZOME/ROOTING END. DO NOT LET THE PLANT DRY COMPLETELY OUT BUT DO NOT SATURATE IT TO THE STANDING WATER STAGE.

HERE IN ZONE 9B MY PLANTS LIKE TO HANG OUT IN DAPPLED SUNLIGHT UNDER OAK TREES. TOO MUCH DIRECT SUN CAN BURN THE FOLIAGE.
